[1.7.2] Sometimes Yeti Tinkers start without APE in Embers
I've seen it happen on an Annihilator and Gunslinger, the other Embers races seem to be alright.

This happens to Tinker classes in AoA too. Majority of such reports I've seen are Drems but occassionally happens to other races too.

Yeah, I remember Drem Tinkers having the same problem in AoA, but haven't encountered it in Embers
