Unlimited Time Travel with Threads of Fate

The cloak Threads of Fate can be activated to use See the Threads talent. Normally See the Threads can only be used once per zone level, but somehow using it through Threads of Fate doesn't have such a limit.
An obvious abuse of this is in Occult Egress. You can basically "select" whatever ego you want, with the biggest number possible, and with the exact trigger/category/element type you want. This can also be abused to reroll Wheel of Fate, to reroll the ring you get when imbuing a gem on the ring, and to gain prodigy points/category points from Fonts of Knowledge. All of these abuse involve absolutely no danger.

Plus the prodigy Revisionist History, and the talent Cease to Exist can also be abused this way since they also offer unlimited time travel, but these are far less accessible. Cease to Exist is exclusive to paradox mage. To learn Revisionist History you must already know Cease to Exist or See the Threads, for non-chronomancers which means having to save a escort and spend a category point, or spend another prodigy point, or have that cloak. By contrary, the cloak Threads of Fate is accessible to everyone not following antimagic.

Threads of Fate must be fixed. I think it's also better to forbid time travel totally in the maps Occult Egress, Angolwen, Gates of Morning and Ithilthum (after Limmir finishes his ritual) and to save the game when Fonts of Knowledge is activated.

This isn't just a bug with Threads of Fate.
If I recall correctly, this is caused by talents activated via items not respecting the on_pre_use field.
