[1.6.1]New Game is stuck

The game is stuck on the New Game at 100%, will not go to the character creation interface (steam version), but playable only with the mod (yutio888 asked me if using the mod works): https://github.com/yutio888/tome-chn (I use the git cloned version now, removed the whole folder, restart and the game is break again)

According to this thread http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=50260 other players' games, presumably without any unofficial mod will not load.

Another bug, btw, is still the healing salve in 1.6.0. The new changelog says:

Fixed healing salves to correctly trigger on heal effects

As I know, in 1.6.1 when a healing salve is used Arcane Shield (Aegis T3) still not trigger.

Another issue: the Weissi Machine still gives a lot of outdated skills (not checked in 1.6.1)
