How some AOE talents work:
1) get which grids are affected
2) go through the grids one by one, and if there's someone in, affect it.
If such "affect" includes some forms of force movement (like knockback), then obviously the same target can possibly be affected for more than once.
Such talents include (but not limit to):
Throw Bomb with alchemist quartz
Shockwave Bomb
I'm not sure that whether this a feature or just a bug

a whole bunch of those were fixed in 1.6, but i guess everyone forgot about Alch

More of them are getting fixed in 1.7 I believe
