[1.6] Rod of Recall//Fortress

Under certain circumstances you can cause the game to break by enabling steam saves and using the rod of recall.

Here is what I did:

1. Disable steam sync or do a fresh install on a new computer having purchased the game and DLC on steam.
2. Play the game and defeat the guardian of the sher'tul fortress, syncing the rod of recall.
3. Enable steam sync.
4. Fresh install on a new computer that has never had the game installed.
5. Load the save.
6. Use the rod of recall.

Having done this (unintentionally) I am now stuck outside the fortress by the stairs despite having completed all of the fortress quests.

Edit: this also breaks the Here and Back Again quests and removes the portals between the east and west.
