Kroshkkur not destroyed while I was there

Greetings,

kudos for releasing The Writhing unto the world of Eyal.

I tried to leave Kroshkkur to trigger the timer for worm to arrive.
Then returned back to Kroshkkur and awaited The Worm's arrival.
Much to my dismay neither me, nor Kroshkkur were destroyed.
Only the quest was marked as failed.

It looked like a wonderful way to fulfill the hint on the second Demented class.
I guess I need to search for some more sophisticated way to embrace the inevitable end of all things.
