both steamsaws are counted as mainhand, so if you get an offhand demon seed, you can't attach it to the offhand one !! bug or not?

Weird, but not a bug, I'd say.
It actually makes for some really fun builds.

On this note, the opposite happens with Stone Wardens dual wielding shields. (They can't use mainhand seeds.)
