Starnge block behavior

My block on steam saws blocks "item mind gloom"... Weird, imho.
This type of damage does not deal any harm (except effects) and is not supposed to be blocked. And block is supposed to block damages where your shields have resistances. But, obsviously, I have no resistance to 'item mind gloom'.

Its resistances or melee procs.
But that is kinda funny.
