Pretty much title.  Patched to 1.5.3 (from 1.5.2, windows 7) and when I run ToME, it never gets past the launcher menu.  I pick 'play', and it never enters the game.  t-engine.exe is still in my task manager as a running process.  I did a fresh install and it still doesn't work.   Any help/ideas would be appreciated.  I couldn't find anybody else having this problem on the forum, even though I didn't change anything on my end.

UPDATE: I can successfully run in 'safe mode' but I can't figure out how to do anything else yet.  I also tried reinstalling 1.5.2 but the same problem occurs.  Again, nothing has changed on my end.

UPDATE: The problem has been found!  I had a corrupted save file and it was preventing the entire game from running somehow.  I deleted the save file and then everything seems to be working now.
