In game installation of addons and DLCs on non-steam version doesn't work.
You have to download manually, open the app package, and manually move the addons where they need to go (Contents/Resources/game/addons).

I've always had to do it manually. Although there used to be the /game folder right in the application folder instead of buried inside the content package.

Sadly newer OSX versions dont like me not putting everything in the .app so ... :/
