Vault stuck offline v1.4.9

Hi. My vault has been stuck in offline mode for the past few days, despite clearly being online. I spoke with Shibari in chat today, and even linked an item for him. I play the game through Steam.

I recently had 1.5.0 beta running on the same pc, using the t launcher (can't wait for that btw, although disappointed that using transmog chest still breaks stealth). I deleted the whole folder, but still in offline.

I've also changed my te4.org password to facilitate login through the beta client.

So uh, any ideas? any further info that would be useful?

Pretty sure vault was working normally even when i had 1.5.0 on; not sure if I have hit some hidden setting or something, but everything i can access in the options settings show online features all enabled.

Incidentally, was told to make a post about it by Shibari in the bug forum. I notice the other bug forum (t engine) has a post with the same problem.

The end result is: stop cheesing voratun items from your more-ahead chars to your tinker classes, and just play the game.
