Mitotic Mindstar crit burst effect is +0

I have a tier 4 mitotic mindstar which I have Used to split into 2 mindstars. I had them both equipped, so as to get the set bonus. Looking at the item description, each one said:

Burst (radius 2) on crit: +0

After I unequipped them, then reequipped them, the set bonus was back to a crit burst of +40, as it should have been all along.
