[1.4.9] Mindstar mastery active talents don't do anything

Specifically: Thorn Grab & Leaves tide for my Lv8 Oozemancer. Haven't tested Nature's Equilibrium yet.
When I use Thorn Grab on an enemy, nothing happens, just 'Char used Thorn Grab' is displayed, no damage is done.
When using Leaves tide the effect is displayed, but no damage to enemy or any status on player character initiated. Description stated 'Bleeding Damage', means it should be physical, I guess.
Psiblades buff seems working alright.

Just to clarify, you do have two mindstars?

Reloading my save to verify - both skills worked alright, maybe I was confused by lack of animation.
