Firelash before getting frozen only hits iceblock
Playing as archmage I fired a lvl 5/5 firelash spell a full turn before being frozen in ice. The firelash continued to travel for another turn, exploding on the third turn. Despite having a damage radius of 6 and being 7 tiles away when it exploded, the firelash only damaged the ice block I was frozen in. I get that this happens because I can only hit the iceblock while I am frozen, but it doesn't seem to make much practical sense. I haven't been able to test it, but I imagine it could also happen with other slow moving spells like void blast.

no, you can only TARGET the iceblock, while in it.
the "actually damaging" thing, is probably because these might be 2 separate effects.
for example... http://forums.te4.org/viewtopic.php?f=42&t=45655
the projectile is one effect, and once it reaches it's destination it triggers the other.
if there is something in the way (ice block) it will block it.
not entirely sure if it's actually the same bug, but likely.
