Own ToME on Steam, can't play it

#1 Post by MonarchMarch »

I bought ToME (with Ashes of Urh'Rok) through Humble Bundle, and then used Steam Sharing to play it while using my own te4 profile (http://te4.org/users/monarchmarch).
I only noticed I had never actually got a Steam copy (http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197996931625/) when I purchased Embers of Rage (also off Humble Bundle) and tried to redeem it on Steam.
When I look at my te4 profile, it says that it's already linked to Steam, but Steam doesn't recognize me as owning it, and Humble Bundle only gave me a Steam key for Embers of Rage I have no way of playing it.

You need to contact Humble if you purchased from them.

I talked to DarkGod about this. If you haven't already then use the contact form again and explain the issue. We'll see about getting this fixed.
<astralInferno> poor stunt
<astralInferno> you suffer so that others may suffer in the intended way

Have a save in need of fixing? Open a ticket, send me a copy of your save: http://www.te4support.org/

It's not a Humble issue, everything on their end worked fine. It's a Steam/te4.org problem.

Did, thanks.

An update: A friend gifted me a copy of the base game, so in a way my issue was fixed - after redeeming that copy, I could finally redeem my DLC key and actually play it.
I'd still like to receive a steam key though - even though I didn't spend the money, I really shouldn't have needed another key to get the game on steam, and that key could've gone to someone else.

Also, I realized that I still don't have Ashes of Urh'Rok on steam as well... I can download it from te4.org, so it's less of a big deal, but it would be nice to get the steam key I'm supposed to have for that as well.

You should be able to sort that out by logging into your account on te4.org.

My profile already says I'm linked, unless you mean something else.

There is a button for redeeming the dlc on Steam if you own it on te4.org.

Err well I can't see it, probably because I already have them on Steam, but I suspect the Steam tab.
