[1.4.8][orcs] cannot save the game after winning

I cannot save the game after winning on the character that I won on unless I exit the game and reload, in which case the final boss' loot disappears, but at least I can go to the item vault later with the other stuff I found
edit: this bug also means that I don't get to do the event where I shoot the rocket, and ToME crashes if I attempt to rod of recall after reloading, but not if I go to level 3 of slumbering caves then back to level 4 then rod of recall

the only third-party addon being used is http://te4.org/games/addons/tome/orcpitsrestoration

I am also using classic UI mode and save in the background is set to disabled

when I attempt to save the game, the first saving window comes up and stays at 0% for a bit then disappears then the next window comes up doesn't pass 0% and disappears, then the third window, which is just the bar(as usual) comes up, but then it also doesn't pass 0% and it disappears

also, the yellow saving bar near the resource bars that isn't supposed to be there since save in the background is disabled comes up, and reaches to 2% and stays there and doesn't go away
