Tranquil meadow replaced with portal to Angolwen

On my most recent cursed character, the Tranquil meadow appeared where the portal to Angolwen usually appears. When completing the apprentice mage quest to make the portal to Angolwen appear, the Tranquil meadow disappeared entirely.
