Just on a run through normal on Skeleton TW. During a skirmish at Vor Armoury I accidentally popped the vault with multihead wyrms. Anyway, I hadn't gotten hold of the athame to finish the quest to get back to the west so spent nigh on an hour trying different strategies to try and live long enough to get past them, get into treasure vault and get back out. Long story short I went into town and raised re-assemble to 5 to get the life bonus so atleast I could get to the athame and possible die and respawn elsewhere. Didn't work first time (re-assemble didn't pop) so lowered it to spend my points elsewhere. The next attempt resulted in it popping (with it not being level 5) and now I'm immortal as it pops every time I'm due a death. Which wouldn't be a problem as I'm rolling normal and up until Vor I hadn't died once so didn't think it would be technically cheating if I played as normal and avoided exploiting it. I'm now in shadow crypt with a doomed clone of myself :) with immortal status to boot. Any suggestions?

this is a very, very bad bug

heres a more condensed version of what OP posted

reassemble is bugged to, at level 5, give 2 extra lives instead of one, but the first extra life doesn't count as a death in the character sheet, and it also doesn't give a popup window, the player might actually end up not realizing that he died

however

if you level reassemble to 5 or higher, die once(consuming the first bugged extra life from reassemble), then take point(s) out of reassemble so it is lower than level 5, you always get the option to reassemble after you die, even if you've already reassembled via the death popup screen before
