One-handed weapons and "Berserker's strength" category?
Not sure if this is a bug or a lack of celar description, but if I equip a single-handed weapon (Skullcleaver) with my Berserker character, this makes Warshout unusable. I understand why Stunning Blow is turned off ("Two-handed assault" technique category), but for Warshout there is no clear indication that this should (or should not) be the case. Similarly, equipping Skullcleaver turns off my (sustained) Berserker Rage, so my guess is that the entire "Berserker's strength" technique category is muted by not have a 2-handed weapon. If so, this could be made more clear IMO. While I have not yet run into the case, I suspect the corresponding "muting" would also occur upon being Disarmed?

Yeah, those all require a two handed weapon. If you try to use any of them without one you get the message "You require a two handed weapon to use this talent." in the combat log area.
<astralInferno> poor stunt

Re: One-handed weapons and "Berserker's strength" category?
that category has sunder armour attack, which clearly require 2h weapon.
at least it's consistent with the requirement?
but yeah. there is otherwise no possible justification for requireing a 2h weapon for any other of the other 3 talents.

Another weirdness is that I can use a weapon of projection when disarmed...
Re: One-handed weapons and "Berserker's strength" category?
lol
then charms are not disabled... did you get a weapon attack, or a far punch? did it create a wave of gauntlet's element?
also...
berserkers have a shield defense category, and i a pretty sure they had it way before ogres.
HOW then?!

How? Don't you mean, "Why?" It's mainly if you want an alternate weapon set, a more defensive option.

Re: One-handed weapons and "Berserker's strength" category?
no, HOW.
how the hell is that supposed to work?
there are 2 entire categories, pretty much CORE categories, that require you to use 2h, but you can't use 2h while also wielding a shield.
(well, you can with ogres, but that wasn't always available)
so by switching to a shield, you give up 2 talent categories for the mean time.
so are you saying you are fine with that?

You don't have to take the category, so yes. Why. If I want to wield a shield because perhaps I want to block and counterstrike and what not, now I can.
