SPOILER ALERT

As most of you know you can use the rod of recall to bypass the boss and port yourself to the mainland.

I don't think this is intended behaviour...

However, it is also nigh-impossible to save the Yeek-Wayist from Subject Z plus Subject Z can kill you in one hit. It's not impossible to win but, come on. No wonder people resort to using rod of recall.

Speaking of weak wayists, the Wayist talent could need some gym training too.

I think it is intended that you use the Rod.

Hmm, I've played a number of archmage and summoner yeeks and never have a provlem with Subject Z. I've only saved the other Yeek once (can't quite remember how - can you get targetted phase door by then?) but after getting through the first two Yeek areas it's perfectly reasonable to have to fight through the Halfling ruins. My only minor compaint is that after doing so the other Tier 1 dungons offer nothing in the way of challenge.
