Nature-talent procs on weapons not working for Skeleton race

I've just noticed on my Skeleton Rogue, wielding a sling with the Wind Worn Shots artifact ammunition, that when the Tornado effect procs, it instead gives me a message saying that I'm too disconnected from nature to use Tornado, which would normally be displayed when an undead uses a nature talent. This might be intended, but seems more likely to me that it's an unintended side-effect of undeads not being able to use nature talents bleeding over to procs. You would assume that it would work, since the character is not the one using the talent, but rather the inherently nature-aligned weapon itself.

I would suggest either making it so that nature-talent procs can occur for undeads, or explicitly stating that undeads cannot use nature-talent procs on items - or even making it so that undeads cannot wield nature aligned items at all, or have them have some side-effects, similar to arcane disrupting items. It might be a nice nerf for Skeletons, though Ghouls should probably have a buff to compensate, since they don't need nerfing at all.

EDIT: Seems I've accidentally posted to T-Engine 4 >> Bugs, rather than ToME 4 >> Bugs. Perhaps a moderator will be kind enough to move my post, should it be of any significance?

Even nature procs definitely don't work for undead. This is most visible on brawlers with wyrmic breath procs on gloves. It is, as far as I know, intended.
