[1.3.0] Memory leak.

#1 Post by nonno »

Hi, my game was stuck eating memory on my Gentoo Linux system with an Athlon64X2 6000+ and an nVidia GTX 750.
I was fighting against Bill and opened the game log with ctrl-m, it opened and some seconds after that I couldn't do anything except killing the game.
I forgot to copy the log from the terminal and lost it, sorry. :(
But I kept the saved game before the problem, if it could help I will attach it compressed in tar.xz, or the format you prefer.
I was playing as a dwarf doombringer.

Today the game crashed in the menu, I suppose I should open a different thread, but I'm lazy. :P
The only error I found in the log is this:

Code: Select all

After fs.reset
[1] = {
  [path] = /opt/SteamLibrary/SteamApps/common/TalesMajEyal//game/engines/te4-1.3.The program 't-engine64' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue (integer parameter out of range for operation)'.
  (Details: serial 130 error_code 2 request_code 94 minor_code 0)
  (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
   that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
   To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
   option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
   backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)
0.teae
}
Thanks!
