character names and lua errors

So after making a joke thalore character named Thirty five percent and failing at I was doing and then making a joke name on a different race called "rip 35%" I realized that upon death, the % not only doesn't show in the log, but it causes me to be locked out of existence with lua errors, as wel as infinitely reproducing the last thing that killed me on the log even after dying

% can't be in a name by itself but it can if attached to something else.
haven't tested with any other symbols but it could happen, who knows!
