Item vault capacity cut in half

As posted in the title, my item vault capacity has suddenly dropped from 10, to 5 some time over the last few days, not exactly sure when. I don't know whether or not this is a bug, a bug being corrected, or some sort of grace period ending since 10 slots seems like a lot for purchasing the base game, the expansion, and a gift copy of the expansion for a friend. I don't exactly know how much space I should have, but it's not that big of a deal for me since I wasn't really using the extra space anyways. I just found it odd and couldn't find anything about it with a forum search.

Also I accidentally duped a frozen shroud while monkeying around with it, but I think that's an old sever bug that's not really fixable.

I think it's not a halving, but a loss of five slots, because the same thing happened to me. I dropped from 22 to 17.

According to the main website, 5 slots is how many you should have for purchasing the base game plus the expansion. I also originally had 10 until a few days ago, but from what it says 5 is correct. Maybe there was a bonus that went away, or a rescaling.

I also have the same problem. Before i had 6 slots when i purchased the game on steam. Then i purchased the expansion and it had gone up by 4 for a total of 10 slots.
Now it has dropped to 5 for no apparent reason. Can someone help?

IIRC +5 slots is a bug that's been corrected.

There was a bug with the vault code that caused it to track some bits wrong (although not consistently which was weird). It finally got tracked down and fixed recently which lead to some people having their slots decreased.

From the above comments it sounds like getting the DLC is supposed to give extra slots? I had five slots from donating way back when and get the expansion when it came out but got no new slots. Is that expected?
