Stuck on the generating level screen

I'm stuck on the generating level screen on the last level of the Lake of Nur. The loading bar keeps going back and forth, but the level is not loading. The same thing happened with my last character who got to that point. When I closed the game with that character and loaded it again, all that showed up was the character's skill bar, health, etc. The rest was black.
