very specific to the halfling with rogue meta-class. I've tried starting these classes as other races and they work fine, but when started as a halfling, the shadowblade and skirmisher receive no assignable stat points, and the rogue itself receives only one (the marauder seems unaffected).
I didn't test all races against the rogue classes or all classes against the halfling, but I did disable all addons not published by the developer.
Sorry if this is a redundant post, although search function didn't find anything.

Re: new character created with no assignable stat points
In game options, there should be an option to auto-assign stat points at birth; Guess what it's set to by default?
Once you toggle it to "off", and generate a new character, you'll get to assign the points for yourself.

Not a bug.laguna wrote:very specific to the halfling with rogue meta-class. Halfling starts with a Strength penalty.
But if your character starts equipped with leather armor, you must have Str 10.
If your class gives you no +Str points to start, then you are forced to make up the difference with your three starting points.
It's possible to start with negative points.
Re: new character created with no assignable stat points
eh... I guess that wouldn't technically be a "bug", but its kinda questionable to prioritize starting armor usability over more practical considerations like "can I start down the skill categories I want at level one", especially given alternatives like just dumping the unusable armor to the bag at character creation.Doctornull wrote: Not a bug.

Oh well, guess I know what was going on at least.
I thought that option was for skill points? Anyway, not related to the issue. The Revanchist wrote:In game options, there should be an option to auto-assign stat points at birth; Guess what it's set to by default?![]()
