The weakness effect of gloom grants 25% bonus damage instead of -25% damage.
I found this out when battling the temporal Ben. After the debuff my character sheet indicated "+25%" on my damage mods.

This is definitely also affecting player Cursed, for the record. I'm guessing the GLOOM_WEAKNESS effect should probably have the signs of eff.incDamageChange swapped in the two places it shows up.

Excatly this has been done in the master branch. So I'd say "fixed".yrriban wrote:This is definitely also affecting player Cursed, for the record. I'm guessing the GLOOM_WEAKNESS effect should probably have the signs of eff.incDamageChange swapped in the two places it shows up.

Well this kind of makes curseds look silly, doesn't it?
Re: [1.2.3] Gloom weakness effect grants 25% damage bonus
The effect and its description were fixed in a recent change, but the talent description is still wrong - it still says "reduces damage by -25%". At least that's what I saw after testing it myself.Kror wrote:Excatly this has been done in the master branch. So I'd say "fixed".
Well it certainly made me regret putting points in a talent that buffs my enemies.Carvool wrote:Well this kind of makes curseds look silly, doesn't it?

I don't know if it was fixed in 1.2.4 but the bug is present in 1.2.5 now. Gloom weakness grants damage bonus, not penalty.
