1.2.0-1.2.1 Launcher jams

For these last two updates, the launcher has jammed after patching and reaching the press play to play bit.
Jammed as in the whole window becomes static and doesn't respond to attempts to click buttons, like Options or Play.

Windows 7 64.
No errors in the launcher_log.
