[1.2.0rc] Keyboard/mouse input ignored, semi-freeze

I have encountered the problem since probably 1.2.0b10 when you switched to new SDL2 libs. That may or may not be related, I do not know. Reliable way of reproducing the problem is as follows:

1) Get to worldmap
2) Enter any location
3) While the game is on "Saving" screen, alt-tab out of it to any other window
4) When the game finishes loading location, alt-tab back

Result: the game renders fine(all idle animations work), but you cannot move with keyboard. You cannot even hit escape for game menu. If you hit any ground tile with right mouse button and close pop-up menu you'll be able to move with keyboard as well.

Sometimes(have not figured the way how to do it reliably) mouse input is ignored as well and the only solution i've found when this happens is to hit cross on the window frame and when it asks if you want to exit the game hit no. Input is restored after it as well.

I'm on win7 x64.
