1.0.3 psiblades still bugged

I just downloaded the new version and i haven't gotten far enough to test whether the psiblades bug still permanently reduces your stats, but it's definitely not applying bonus mindpower. My oozemancer has 39 mindpower and has two mindstars which give bonuses of +12 and +3 to mindpower respectively. However, when i activate psiblades the bonuses on the item screen are increased to +22 and +5 while my mindpower on both my character sheet and my tooltip remain at 39. Just wanted to report that the talent is still bugged .

Not a bug. They only affect mindstar damage from melee hits. Not overall mindpower.

Don't say random stuff. Psiblades are always buggy; all fixes, supposedly being applied to them, seem to only add more bugs.
1) Description promises mindpower multiplier (without saying anything about "melee hits")
2) Descriptions of equipped mindsatrs show correct values (e.g. increase from +1 mindpower to +2 mindpower)
3) Character sheet shows old mindpower until you re-equip mindstars manually with enabled Psiblades

It wasn't random. But from my experience of 1.0.1 and prior, they didn't seem to increase mindpower for solipsist talents. But your point 3 suggests they do/did. IF so, I couldn't get it to work. I am one of many players who had the stat loss experience, so I stopped using psiblades. I'm not confident to use them again yet, given this bug report.

The mindpower bonus gets applied in my experience, but only after weapon swapping or switching to the offhand weapon set and then back to the main weapon set. It's a bug? Definitely. The mindpower bonus gets applied to the character? Yes, but only after the workaround I just mentioned.

I just loaded up an oozemancer and tested this out, works perfectly. Thanks for the work-around pepper.

This particular behavior is same in both 1.0.1 and current version.

IMPORTANT - psiblades can still screw you.

Okay, so some people in chat were asking about psiblades and the workaround. I swapped over to my level 50 summoner to test it and give advice. I did NOT manage to get either mindpower or will/cun bonuses to register on my character sheet.

HOWEVER:

I now have much less will and cunning. It is NOT as severe as before. I can hold down my hotkey to toggle back and forth between weapon sets and after many iterations I have less will/cun. Turns out that the mindblades themselves were losing that bonuses. I kept testing and they now have 0/0 bonus, even with psiblades off.

So despite psiblades being LESS buggy than before be aware that you CAN still lose stats. Well, not you directly, but your fancy T5 uniques. I'm down about 25 willpower and 12 cunning.

Edit: the mindpower on the weapons is also zero now.

Glad my summoner already beat Atamathon. Damn.

Some kind of bug still is present.
Everytime I change something on my Levelup Screen, the Mindpower bonus is reset. I have to unwield and wield my Mindstars again, to get the bonus back. Its sufficient to swap weapons to the offset and back to the main set. Still its a bug.
I did not notice any permanent damage to my stats or the stats of the equipment i have.

Ok...

In the The latest svn the psiblades are still very much broken:/
Each time you level up and save some changes in the skill tree or just activate and deacitvate psiblades, you get a permanent negative hit to your willpower and cunning.

I just checked the latest SVN with the " really fix psiblades ..." comment.
Sadly the behavior im having is still there. It happents when a randant or artifact has willpower or cunning bonus. The bonus is still subtracted every time you change your character skills. So after a few times you end up with 1 willpower.

I tried and I cant replicate this.
I wield the oozing heart, learn & activate psiblades, then learn/unlearn some talents repetively, I dont loose anything.
Am I missing something ?

Ok.

I tried the following:

Character with only Oozing Heart equiped.
Activating psiblades: Willpower and Cunning bonus is not updated
Deactivating psiblades: Willpower and Cunning bonus is subtracted
Activating psiblades: Willpower and Cunning bonus is not updated
Deactivating psiblades: Willpower and Cunning bonus is subtracted
and so on...

After a few Activate/Deactivate i had 1 Willpower and a few Cunning points.
I think the sustains are deactivated and activated again after changes have been made the the skills so thats why the problem showed up during stat change.
Bu You can reproduce is easier just by manually deactivating the sustain "psiblades"

Would it help to simply make this an effect (e.g. stealth) that granted whatever values were in effect when it was cast? So the tool-tip would say that it gave a series of flat (not percentage) bonuses, which were computed from the percentages at the time of casting?
