z button disabling sustained ability ruin

skeleton reaver lvl 7 everytime i click on the auto search (z) button it disables the ruin sustained...
?am i doing something wrong?

Are you wearing an item "powered by arcane-disrupting forces"? Those don't get along so well with magical sustains.
