Hi!
The Minotaur in the maze causes the game to hard crash on Mac. Sound keeps playing, but everything else becomes unresponsive. The machine needs to be rebooted. Basically, I'm experiencing this bug exactly:

I tried disabling shaders and framebuffers, and it did not help. I also tried to run ToME in a Windows session under Parallels, and I had the same result.
The Minotaur always triggers it, though not necessarily the first round he is visible. I then made a dwarf character and I am getting the same problem in the Deep Bellow, first floor. I do not know which creature causes it there.
Please look into this! I can run tests if you would like. Thanks a lot!

I have this same problem. It's not just the Minotaur and Deep Bellows – I also had this trouble with another boss fight. Don't recall which.
This eventually makes the game unplayable. Though the character isn't lost (the save is still there once I reboot my machine), I can't go back to the dungeon level on which the error occurred. And with this happening consistently, my dungeoneering options slowly dwindle.
An otherwise awesome game, relegated to the back bench...
