Apparently, golems dream with their masters. They don't dream of themselves being some petty mice or whatever - they smash all sorts of ugly wives and cougars threatening their rodent masters just like they would do when awake.
Then they forget to wake up and have to be supercharged AND invoked back into real life. Just supercharging will charge their dreamy self, just invoking will result in "mom, I don't want to wake up yet" in the form of "golem is inactive", but at least the game will notice that the golem is "dead".
It might matter that master was a skeleton. Heh, dead but dreaming.
Another, possibly unrelated bug occurred after I finished each of the dreams - my cursors got corrupted. Not just ToME ones, but Windows ones too. That might be just my GPU overheating, though.

It's clearly a statement about the power of friendship or somesuch. You might be weak and scared in the dream, but you can always rely on your loyal robot buddy to save the day!

Why did I KNOW someone would do this.... Perhaps we need a third dream for alchemists, where they dream they are a golem, with an alchemist master that's lost and dying over time, we have to save them before the clock (there health) runs down. Give us the other side of the experience. Or we could have an evil alchemist we have to run from, and turn it into a different kind of nightmare.supermini wrote:My Little Golem: Friendship is MagicMewtarthio wrote:It's clearly a statement about the power of friendship or somesuch. And ****it, now that actually sounds like a good show... And Eyalbook would have at least one Brolem somewhere on it....

I'm for the golem turning into a mouse as long as it can still shoot laser beams from it's eyes.

And taunt "ERATICATE, EXVERMINATE!". Robotdent takes no hostages and gives no rat's posterior.wobbly wrote:I'm for the golem turning into a mouse as long as it can still shoot laser beams from it's eyes.
By the Way, how does someone as eloquent as golem taunt people into attacking it? I can't imagine golemish insults achieving the effect, so it must use something like horrid puns or stupid faces (golem blowing a raspberry sounds more horrifying than infuriating, though). Undead re-dying say stuff and golem does not, so it's probably the latter.
