I was testing out several wide field particle effects(Necrotic Aura, mostly), for random development related reasons.
I found that, for some reason, the particles would appear when my little paperdoll appeared on the bottom of the screen, around it, while the game was logging events... then not refresh out of existence when the paperdoll faded out. They'd disappear when I cut off the sustain, though.
I'm running on an ancient Shader 2 GeForce...maybe that has something to do with it?
