ARcane shield provides damage shield for 3 turns, and Shielding at 5/5 increases all damage shields by 1 turn, but it doesn't increase duration of Arcane Shield's damage shield. This should either be fixed or the description modified to indicate this.

Just tested it and it does increase the duration. Are you sure you have the effective talent level of >=5 on shielding? I think arcane blades get a lower mastery so you won't be able to get it with 4 points.
