This is the second time, though different city and playthrough, that I've experienced the game going unresponsive while CTRL-hover comparing equipment at a vendor. In this case it was at the merchant you save from the assassin lord. I allowed the game to work at it for 30 seconds or so, and then let windows kill it.
After reloading the autosave at city entrance, I found that I could not enter any of the shops. No error message popped up, the game just did nothing as I attempted to walk into or click on the shop entrances. Other cities were fine.
Don't know if this is related to the LUA error I'd gotten some time previously in the same run when exiting Dirth.
The first time I've had the game go unresponsive while browsing goods, everything was fine on reload.
Edit: Ok, I've had the game go unresponsive a whole bunch of times, both in shops and in dungeons, every time when I am comparing equipment with CTRL-hover. When I alt-tab and start task manager, it says t-engine is using 1800MB of RAM - that's not intended, is it?
