Adventurer party cluster

#1 Post by arcasor »

While strolling near Daikara in my incarnation as a Yeek Summoner I met a cluster of 4 adventurer parties.

They are absolutely motionless, and once the initial adrenaline wave subsided I discovered I could circumvent them without triggering an ambush; walking into them, instead, would trigger it. It looks like a bug, though not a game-breaking one.

As near as I can tell, this seems to happen if an enemy party on the map swaps places with another enemy party, then attacks something and loses on the same turn. Then they kinda get more clones when another enemy swaps places with the cloned dead enemy.

Last run, I actually saw this start up(the swapped enemy was attacking me), in a high traffic part of the Eastern Continent. I ended up getting a hilarious chain of around a dozen dead orc parties(and one apparently stuck live one).

I think all the current cloning problems are something similar, something to do with exchanging places or moving another entity on the map, then dying or leaving the map in some way, in the same turn.
