First update: I originally loaded version 39b without music. I deleted it and downloaded the music version - no change. For some reason I think I may be fighting a video issue - the first screen is coming up in the upper left hand corner of the monitor screen with the top and left side off screen. A long time ago I seem to have seen a fix for this on these forums but I can not find it

Second update: I deleted everything from version 39b (in Program Files and in /Users/user/T-engine) and installed Beta 40. Same thing - can not get it to boot

Hi folks,

I have not played since beta 37. I loaded beta 39 (and 40) and the female fighter shows up and about 75% through her screen the system just freezes

the stderr.txt says
PANIC: unprotected error in call to Lua API (Unable to initialize: attempt to call a string value)

te4_log.txt says
CPU] Detected 8 CPUs
NO SELFEXE: bootstrapping from CWD
WARNING: No bootstrap code found, defaulting to working directory for engine code!

Help!

How do i get this great game started.?

Where is the game info stored - for the life of me I can not remember what I should clear out to start the game with a fresh new character and no unlocks etc? Both from my system and online?

Thanks

Preston

This is actually normal, no worries there.

This I am not 100% sure on. Can you give us some more details on your machine? Is it 64-bit, for example?
<DarkGod> lets say it's intended

I looked through this and it seemed to beflirting with the same type problem but it really did not lead this simple mind to any solution.
