I think what has happened is that game got saved when I died, but after using the blood of life it didn't save. So the game thinks I am dead

Missing save game (b36)
I was in the temporal rift in Daikara, I died to the elementals, used blood of life and continued on. I killed the Cursed Ben fellow and then ported to shadow Daikara. My power went out for a minute or two and when I got back into the game my save file was not available to load from. Is this a bug and is there a way to tweak my save file so it will show up and I can die a more conventional death?

Check in your home/t-engine/4.0/tome/save/ folder there should be a fodler with your charname, what is inside ?

Re: Missing save game (b36)
As far as I can remember the normal files cur.png, desc.lua, zone-x.teaz where x is the name of each zone. Of course, I have since created a new game so the original save has been overwritten.
Re: Missing save game (b36)
If you start a new character using a different character name, it won't overwrite the save of the other character.
In other words; the save files are based on character name, so if you start a new character with the same name over and over it will always use the same savefile, thus overwriting the old one.
