[b35] Rotting Disease bug (I hope!)

I have just been given Rotting disease doing 28.33 blight damage per turn for 30 turns! Is that right?

Probably a ghoulking, so it's right, in that it's doing what the talent is intended to do, but could probably stand some toning back. It's pretty ridiculous, as is.

The skeletal mold (Zquishy as I think of him) can inflict pretty long diseases, and he can show up as early as the starter dungeons. I nearly died from it once (one turn away from dying). Granted, it was in a vault, but it still seemed excessive, considering the disease lasted three times as long as Zquishy did.

As far as balancing goes, the diseases could stand to be a little more common and a little less deadly. It seems every time I get infected by a disease from a ghoul-foo, I get all three, but I rarely get infected anyway.

the durations can go to 50, which is absurd. Anything with a duration of more then 20 needs to be looked at

I concur, especially given the new save system, durations caused by pcs and those hacking npcs could use some tweaking. Though this patch added a *ton* of content so bugfixes and balance tweaks were to be expected.
