The 'live' log has the ability to hover.over user names etc, but when you open the log that doesn't have it. Giving you very limited time to view a linked person or item etc.
the.monster who.killed someone is displayed on mouse hover. But that should really only be when you hover the death text (or even monster) not on the username.
message log doesn't have mouseover functionality
