[b34] Cloak of Deception

#1 Post by Shoob »

Could we perhaps change this to powered by unknown forces :)

Currently if you choose to play an undead and side with zigur you cannot talk to the town elder, making it impossible to win the game this way (unless you side with them after you get back)

Can we instead have Zigur inaccessible to undead? Cause it's just stupid to have anti-magic undead. Undead shouldn't get the Harmony tree from the Queen's heart either.

This comes up so often.

Personally, I would lean towards leaving options open rather than closing them off for lore reasons. Come up with a handwaving justification if you want, but I don't personally see how the game is improved by closing those paths off to undead.

Well, at the very least we should prevent the player from being able to put himself in an unwinnable situation (undead unable to use cloak).

In SVN undead can no longer access Zigur, by the way.
