non- alpha-numeric characters not allowed for usernames

When one tries to create a tome4 account from the game, only alpha-numeric characters are allowed in the username. Periods, underscores, and other commonly used symbols are not accepted as input. Registering online does accept these characters, so I think the t-engine application should accept the same characters that the online registration allows.
