[b33] Level 28 Patchwork Troll in Bill's Level

#1 Post by Zonk »

And my character is level 6. I thought such *extreme*OOD monsters were meant to no longer show up?

It makes Bill(level 7, only 586 HP to the patchwork's 1716) look quite puny, which is just...weird.

Secret level is outside of nooby protection
[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD

Zonk, not so loud mate, everyone will want one ;)

If I was going to get a ridiculously overlevelled mob anywhere in the early game I'd probably want it there... where it's easy to jump back and forth between areas to hit it or cast your best spell then scoot back again.. of course maybe leaving it for a few levels later if you haven't got the stones (or hp) to survive single hits from it just yet 8)

Just realized that it's probably keeping you from (fairly easily) taking out Bill for a few quick levels early on... okay yeah that part would suck.

Depending on your class and abilities, perhaps getting your hands on a phase door or teleport rune and shielding rune would make it do-able? (if slow...)

OOD monsters are this game's implementation of DMs. They feed on your tears.
Having satellite internet is a lot like relying on the processes described in those RFC's for your internet. Except, instead of needing to worry about statues interrupting your connection, this time you worry about the weather. I have satellite internet. Fun, no?
