as is my wont i tried to compile the game myself. i use linux, ubuntu natty 11.04 64 bits. the compile failed because of missing music dir. i tried to compile the source without music...
for your guidance i attach the compile log starting with the premake4 operation. hope this helps resolve the issue.

You need to install the openal/ogg/vorbis dev packages for your distribution
