Snap

#1 Post by Tom »

I have Snap at 2/5
The description says I can reset the cooldown of 5 of my combat talents (cunning or technique) of lvl 2 or less.

I always thought this meant that talents above 2, for example FLURRY and DUAL STRIKE which are at 4/5 would not be resetted.
But they are.

What exactly is happening?
Is it a bug, or did I misunderstand the whole thing?

It means: tier 1 and 2...

So dual strike and flurry, but not whirlwind and the other one.

Ahh. Thank you for clarifying this.
Is there a reason then to go to SNAP 5/5 as there are only 4 talents in a tree?

Whoa! I always just assumed it referred to the number of points in a talent and so I never bothered with it (or any of the other similarly-worded cooldown-resetting talents). Good to know....

Yes, because it increases the amount of talents that will be reset. If I remember correctly, at 5/5 it will reset NINE talents. ;)

Kinda overkill by that stage though. Indeed, since there's not many level 4 talents that are worth snapping I'd say that it's not really worth raising Snap above 2 or 3.

To ressurect an old thread:

The tooltip description on skill this is off.

At 2 points (and 1.3 shadowblade) it says 4 of tier 3 or less. Reality is only tier2
And so on for 3 points: says tier 4, but only tier 3.

etc.

The tooltip should be modified. Although I suspect no one ever takes this skill as it's a fair waste of points imho, and its stamina cost is way too high for a rare contingency that requires a fair investment to get higher tiers. The stamina costs of tier one skills are typically less than 1/2 this. Shame to have such a waste of a Tier 4 skill.
