Shadow Simulcrum

#1 Post by jenx »

Not sure if this is a bug or idea - it is sure bugging me though! Shadow Simulcrum is awesome, but for some problems/ideas:
1. Range is too short. I've discussed this in my post in Ideas
2. Too many lua errors, which I keep sending in
3. Once the critter finishes, it is not like other summoned creatures that follow you around. It just sits there unless something else comes along. This seems inconsistent, and my pet master orc archer, with 10 rounds to go and 70% HP left, would be great to lead into the next room!
4. With headless horrors only, when I cast it, the next turn without fail, several nasties are summoned in. I'm not sure why this is happening. and because of the next issue (5) I can't figure which headless is doing it...
5. The biggest issue is that it has the identical name as its shadow, so you can't work out in the messages what it is doing, to assist it, etc. Can it be given a (shadow) or some other qualifier in the messages? I could then see how effective various creatures are.
6. It would be nice to be able to create more than one at higher levels.
MADNESS rocks
