Tooltips not showing properly

This has been around for a long time. Sell an item out from under your cursor, for example, and the new item that lands under your cursor doesn't display a tooltip.

This is newly annoying with the Transmogrification Chest. Stand on an item, use the chest, and the dialog pops up with the item selected, but the tooltip doesn't show. You have to try to scroll up or down to get it to appear.
