Enemies casting disruption shield when silenced leads to inf

Hi - so I am an Anorthil fighting a Faerthling. I cast aura of sanctity to silence it. It tries to cast disruption shield, and the spell fails, causing an explosion that deals 143 damage. I don't think this is intended, but what is worse, it tries to cast the spell again and again.... hundreds of times.
