Stuck in Tannen's Tower

I got stuck at the bottom of Tannen's Tower just now. It was right after he teleported me there from Last Hope. All four sealed doors were sealed; there were no npcs or any way to proceed.

Check more carefully. The eternal bone giants are the same color as the background and cannot be seen at all. Same happens in Ardhungol with the duathleden.

I've just hit this same error - killed everything and the doors are still closed.. Tannen teleported me into his tower. I *believe* I had a brief fight in the first, southwest, room (not sure, I had saved right after that room and didn't get back to it for a few days). E's were in the southeast room, dragon-types in the northwest. The northeast room was nothing but lava tiles. I've checked each tile several times, if anything is left alive besides me, it's not attacking me and I haven't managed to bump into it?

Any idea how to recover from this? I saw in another thread about recalling, then deleting the tower's save file, but I don't know how to go about doing that.

That happened to one of my characters, and I tried teleporting and lucked into landing on the stairs.

Others have mentioned the diagonal walls between the doorways being diggable.

Thanks, controlled phased door targeted on the stairs worked after about ten tries.

No joy on the digging though. Is there no longer a message if try to dig through something inpenatrable, or if your strength isn't high enough?
